I am a candidate for Chorlton Park ward in the all-out elections to Manchester City Council on May 3rd 2018, alongside Amaan Hashmi and Sebastian Bate. We are committed to breaking the one-party state in Manchester, which has only one opposition Councillor, John Leech.
In the last local elections the Lib Dems came a close 2nd place in the ward (1,950 votes) to Labour (2,564 votes). As a firm believer in "where we work, we win” I have been canvassing, fundraising, taking on casework and drafting / delivering street letters and Focus ever since becoming a candidate.
I am honoured to be on the list of Liberal Democrat women recognised for expanding their local party, any donations will provide much needed funding for the Chorlton Park campaign!
